The Corporate Security Head is a strategic leader responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the organization's security program. This role ensures the protection of personnel, assets, and information through proactive risk assessment, policy development, and the management of security operations. The Corporate Security Head collaborates with senior management to align security strategies with business objectives, and maintains a comprehensive understanding of evolving security threats and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement information security policies and procedures and guidelines
- Oversee security measures to protect the company's computer systems and data
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
- Stay up-to-date on security threats and vulnerabilities
- Lead incident response and breach investigation efforts
- Manage security awareness training programs for employees
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are implemented effectively
- Monitor security compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide regular reports to management on security status and incidents
- Lead the response to security incidents and breaches
- Working directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes
- Coordinate with technology and business groups to assess, implement, and monitor IT-related security risks/hazards
- Oversee incident response planning and the investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches
- Provide regular reporting on the current status of the information security program to senior business leaders and the board of directors
- Ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations
- Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to the organization’s information systems through ongoing monitoring and assessment
- Overseeing the development and implementation of security awareness training programs
- Provide regular reports to management on security status and incidents
- Lead the response to security incidents and breaches
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information security
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices
- Experience with risk management and compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
Nice to Have
- Experience in developing and implementing security policies
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for data protection
- Knowledge of current trends in cybersecurity
