In this essential role, this role will work closely with operations and project leadership to translate scope into clear,
accurate construction-ready documentation. AV Designer will support
proposal development and project
execution by creating professional technical drawings and design documentation.
Responsibilities

Create low voltage and AV system designs

Develop floor plan markups, device layouts, signal flow diagrams, riser diagrams, rack elevations, and wall elevations
- Produce structured cabling layouts (CAT6A, IDF/MDF, pathway routing)

Develop AV system block diagrams
- Interpret architectural drawings and coordinate with existing building plans
- Revise drawings based on client comments and field conditions

Prepare drawing packages for proposals and submittals
Must Have
- Experience in designing commercial AV and low voltage systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Visio
- Understanding of structured cabling standards, rack layouts & equipment spacing, sound masking layouts, collaboration room design (Zoom/Teams), and access control & security systems
- Ability to work from scopes of work and translate into buildable documentation
- Strong attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience in enterprise corporate office projects
- Experience in Multi-floor or multi-building departments
- Experience in IT + AV intergration environments
